12/12/14 Arctic Sea Ice extends to 1981-2010 median per NSIDC. Reparations must be paid for years of urgent public predictions that Arctic Ice was disappearing but could return if trillions of US tax dollars were seized. Al Gore's 2007 Nobel podium Arctic ice melt prediction could qualify as a crime against humanity for the suffering it caused

Trillions of precious tax dollars have been diverted based on failed predictions that the Arctic was about to be ice free followed by the extinction of humanity unless trillions of US taxpayer dollars were delivered now and forever. Real problems have been starved. In 2012 alone $1 billion a day was spent on the notion that Arctic Sea ice was disappearing because of human CO2.

2013 BBC discussion suggests a pause in many years of confiscation of taxpayer dollars based on predictions that failed to materialize and which "peer reviewed literature regards as established yet unexplained." The single reason for diversion of dollars was the notion that CO2 caused contemporaneous, catastrophic global warming. Temperatures have remained flat since 1998 while CO2 has continued to increase most notably in China:

Multi-billion dollar "
spending decisions, paid for by consumers and taxpayers...might not have been taken (at least to the same degree or with the same haste) if global warming was not quite the imminent threat it has been depicted....The recent standstill in global temperatures is a puzzle. Experts do not know why it is occurring or how long it will last....There is no consensus. Extensive peer-reviewed literature regards it as established yet unexplained. It is widely accepted that the main climate models which inform government policy did not predict it."...(subhead, "Reputable evidence")

11/29/12, 134 scientists write to UN Sec. Gen. Ban Ki-Moon, asking him to desist from blaming climate disasters on global warming that hasn't happened:

"Global warming that has not occurred cannot have caused the extreme weather of the past few years."...“The NOAAState of the Climate in 2008report asserted that 15 years or more without any statistically-significant warming would indicate a discrepancy between observation and prediction. Sixteen years without warming have therefore now proven that the models are wrong by their creators’ own criterion.”…(2nd parag. fr. end of letter).  …"Policy actions that aim to reduce CO2 emissions are unlikely to influence future climate. Policies need to focus on preparation for, and adaptation to, all dangerous climatic events, however caused."...Special to Financial Post, 12/10/12

"Not only that, but as my top chart shows, US CO2 emissions are falling even faster than what President Obama pledged in the global Copenhagen Accord."...Here is the biggest shocker of all: the average American’s CO2 emissions are down to levels not seen since 1964 --over half a century ago.…Coal is the number two source of CO2 for Americans. Today the average American burns an amount similar to what they did in 1955, and even less than they did in the 1940s.…It is exactly America’s historical role of biggest and dirtiest that makes their sharp decline in CO2 pollution so noteworthy and potentially game changing at the global level.”...

Al Gore from 2007 Nobel podium:

5/13/13, "Wrong: Al Gore Predicted Arctic Summer Ice Could Disappear In 2013," CNS News, Barbara Hollingsworth

"A 2007 prediction that summer in the North Pole could be “ice-free by 2013” that was cited by former Vice President Al Gore in his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech has proven to be off…by 920,000 square miles.

In his Dec. 10, 2007 “Earth has a fever” speech, Gore referred to a prediction by U.S. climate scientist Wieslaw Maslowski that the Arctic’s summer ice could “completely disappear” by 2013 due to global warming caused by carbon emissions.

Gore said that on Sept. 21, 2007, "scientists reported with unprecedented alarm that the North Polar icecap is, in their words, 'falling off a cliff.' One study estimated that it could be completely gone during summer in less than 22 years. Another new study to be presented by U.S. Navy researchers later this week warns that it could happen in as little as seven years, seven years from now.""...
