Obama sets world agenda at UN: doesn't mention terrorism, instead says we need to watch out for bad films

9/25/12, "At U.N., Obama downplays terrorism in Libya attack," Washington Times, D. Boyer

"Speaking at the opening of the United Nations General Assembly Tuesday, President Obama portrayed the deaths of four Americans in Libya as a result of inflamed tensions over an anti-Islam movie produced in the U.S., rather than a terrorist attack.

Although his administration in recent days acknowledged that the deaths of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three others were caused by a terrorist act on Sept. 11, Mr. Obama didn’t mention terrorism as the likely cause in front of the international audience. He focused much of his speech instead on promoting religious tolerance and free speech, blaming the anti-Islam film for the anti-U.S. outbursts while cautioning that there is never an excuse for violence."...

The UN has enabled the growth of violent Islam in the past several decades. Furthering that theme, Obama led the adoption of a 'religious tolerance' resolution 56 Islamic states in the UN had pushed for for years. Obama's State Dept. hosted 3 days of closed-door talks to discuss ways of "implementing" the rule:

Obama thinks the US needs a whipping and he uses the terrorist dominated UN to help him do the job. Evil Americans--who pay his salary, made him a multi-millionaire and who also pay the bills for most UN jet setters--were subjected for the first time ever to a courtroom-like flogging by terrorists for hundreds of our alleged "faults:"

In 2010 under Obama the US submitted itself for the first time ever to a terrorist-filled UN Human Rights group for judgment. From this emerged a list of hundreds of ways the US needed to improve. "Cuba, Venezuela and Iran" and others scolded the US during the evaluation which culminated in 2011. The US is impotent because it funnels billions of US taxpayer dollars yearly on a no-strings basis to an unelected, unaccountable parasitic group called the UN, then submits itself to a UN terrorist group for judgment:

"As part of a groundbreaking commitment to improvement under the Obama administration, the U.S. joined the 47-nation Human Rights Council in 2009 . And in doing so, submitted to more international scrutiny.State Department legal adviser Harold Koh outlined nine key improvement areas Friday, encompassing about 174 of the 228 recommendations the community had urged on Washington in an initial report last November. Nations are held accountable for what they agree to improve....Cuba, Iran and Venezuela complained the U.S. was brushing too many recommendations aside."...

"Not only are we seeing the White House
and State Department call more attention to the Mohammed-mocking "Innocence of Muslims" than any terrorist network ever could've hoped for, but the President's indefensible scapegoating of the film and filmmaker to draw attention and blame away from U.S. security failures apparently knows no bounds.

Next week, Obama will denounce the film in a speech before the United Nations General Assembly."... via Free Republic
