The only question is how much longer Tea Party Reaganites stay with a Republican Party that despises them-Craig Shirley, Breitbart

.
5/21/14, "Rise of the 'Obama Republicans'," Craig Shirley, Breitbart

"The last gasp of principled conservatism may have come in 2010 with the rise of the Tea Party, but this also gave rise to the countervailing force of the Obama Republicans, resulting in the nomination of Mitt Romney in 2012.

In spite of losing five of the previous six presidential contests, it is the Obama Republicans who now rule the party apparatus of the GOP. Obama Republicans have also spread out among the state bureaucracies, the academies, Wall Street, Detroit, and nearly all of corporate America....

The Administrative state is here to stay, as long as the status quo holds. The only question now is how long the Tea Party Reaganites stay with a party which is fundamentally opposed to them and despises them." via Mark Levin twitter

Comment: As Mr. Shirley has well documented, all this was going on in Reagan's time too. So I wouldn't use Obama's name in describing what's happening today. The Bushies were around then, are around today, and are very sick people. The Tea Party won't be its own political party. National groups with the words "Tea Party" in their name have been unhelpful at best. That's not even getting into TP groups that've been GOP co-opt jobs from day 1. Something else will happen. As it stands now, Andrew Breitbart worked himself to death and left 4 young children without a father for nothing. I can't accept that. (PS. I'm old enough to remember the Reagan era. My only impression of him at the time was that he talked about abortion constantly. I remember when all abortion was illegal, I'm female, and I never want women to have to live in a world like that again. I never would've heard Reagan's message about limited government because he made me sick talking about abortion all the time.)
